Tiszafüred
The beach of Tiszafüred stretches for one and a half kilometres along the shores of Lake Tisza. It's popular with families with young children, as the water is slowly deepening, so even the little ones can have a safe swim. Thanks to its shallow waters, it heats up quickly, making it a great place to relax.
The beach has undergone a major renovation, with 500 m2 of pistes, a water polo field, a sunbathing area and a play island. Swimming ladders help you to get in and out of the water, and sun sails provide shade from the sun. There's an inflatable water playground for young and old, as well as hire of water bikes, boats, kayaks and canoes, and a hire bicycle sled to explore the coast.
There's also a playground for children on the beach, but the beach and its surroundings, Halas Square, are also home to a colourful programme of activities.
