Lake Tisza Eco-Centre

The Lake Tisza Eco-Centre presents the natural treasures of Lake Tisza and the Tisza Valley in an entertaining, modern, interactive and playful way, showing the rich fauna of Hungary's second largest lake.

The main attraction of the Lake Tisza Ecocentre is Europe's largest freshwater aquarium system and a three-dimensional projection room. Its leisure park with animal shows and playgrounds is both an amusement park and a zoo, while the landscape house and fishing lodge are part of the complex.

Lake Tisza Water Trail. On the nature trail, visitors can walk along a 1,500-metre-long boardwalk to gain insight into the flora and fauna of Lake Tisza. The trail can be approached by boat or by the regular boat service. It is located about 500 metres from the Poroszló harbours, but is also freely accessible by boat from the other harbours of the lake. A walk along the footpath takes you to the previously inaccessible wildlife area of the lake. Information boards and birdwatchers will help you observe the creatures.

A traditional poultry farm takes you back in time to the 19th century.
