Lake Tisza is the second largest lake in the country, a UNESCO World Heritage protected lake in the Hortobágy National Park, a paradise for water tours with its varied scenery. Discover the small canals, the slow river and the open water emerging from the reeds. Kayaking is a quick, easy way to get around the lake, getting to places you can't get to otherwise, quietly and without scaring away wildlife. The tours are led by qualified guides who know every corner of the lake, trained and experienced kayakers, and ecotour guides from the Hortobágy National Park. Technical instruction is given at the beginning of the tour; the carefully selected comfortable and safe equipment is shown how to use it correctly and the basics of kayaking are explained. The group size is up to 6 people and the daily programme is adapted to the needs of the group. We will be doing non-power hiking, so you will have time to take photos, stretch and relax while paddling.
