Building a raft
A load of planks, beams, ropes and rubber bands inflated to the point of pimples. At the sight of all this, the participants rightly look at the trainer inquiringly: what is the task? Scanning the landscape further, a set of life jackets with canoe paddles appears. It's almost certain that a wet programme awaits the team, but here we have a task that focuses on teamwork.
The clear aim is to get the treasure chest in the water.
The programme will also require effective communication and good organisation of work within the team, as only designated coordinators will be briefed on each element of the task and it is their responsibility to inform the rest of the team. The aim of the programme can be a shared treasure, even if there are several boats. Or it could be a competition between units.
